...I'm just gonna go ahead and cry now, m'kay?

Not gonna lie, I really want somebody to slap Kirin.

After reading those last two side-stories, I kinda hate Meimaru right now. Did he ever really care for his brother at all?

In any event, this was very well-done. That ending... I really felt the emotion. I'm quite impressed.

(hugs)
Take care of yourself, alright? Good luck. :)

Thankees! ^.=.^

I don't have the recipe for the Shade Dagger; that's the last of the 16.

I'm on public build 0.12; I've finished the main story as far as it would let me and wanted to get the crafting done that I could do, but after gathering all the merchants to the hall and crafting every recipe they had, including the one the wolf in the rat cave gave me, I'm still short one weapon. What am I missing?

Good things are worth waiting for. :)

I've just finished the latest chapter. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next one, but in the meantime...

I'm just gonna go ahead and cry now, m'kay?

When Varok told Ranok to go to Strandbard, Ranok asked to bring Caelan with him; that part of the meeting happened just after Aldris left the feast, but had she been there to see it, I have no doubt she would've raised the same stink about it then as she did on the morning of their departure.

I was in the process of rereading the prior chapters to get myself back up to speed, and I'm starting to have suspicions regarding Tano.

Verissa's made it fairly plain that if the charade fails, every wolf who's found to have helped it along will have to face consequences, up to and including the possibility of their own necks being put on the block right next to Caelan's. Tano's certainly sharp enough to have realized that himself, and he claims to be impartial in all this; why, then, does he keep commenting on Caelan's most recent fuck-ups, whenever the two of them are alone together? Wouldn't it be safer for him to just sit down, shut up and watch the drama unfold on its own?

I'd lay money on it that Tano's got something to lose if Caelan's deception is discovered. I don't yet know what that might be, but it's something important enough to him that he's willing to risk being implicated in the conspiracy, for the chance to influence its outcome.

I myself shall be very interested to see where this story goes next. ^.=.^

1000% agreed.

"Excuse me, Jack? You walk into your boyfriend's house, for what could be reasonably assumed is the first time, and before you've even really started learning the ins and outs of his family dynamic, you immediately demand changes to it? Even if you were married to Leo, you wouldn't have the right to throw your weight at his sons like that, and the fact that you tried to exercise this non-existent authority literally the day after you first met them, has lost you a very high number of points by my measure."

NGL, I'm really hoping Leo tells him off for that next time, because I'm quite certain there's going to be a next time. The fact that Jack later admitted to Ludus that his own dad was, shall we say, controlling, has me wondering how Jack didn't notice himself acting the same way.

Not gonna lie, that was kinda spooky.
I like it.

After further reflection, I've decided to ask: What feeling do you get from that scene?

Darius has just done the same thing to MC that Vernon once did to Chester. It's no secret I'm not the most observant person on the planet, but it's plainly obvious even to me that Vernon was written as an unrepentant asshole... so what am I not seeing here, that's meant to make Darius look any different?

Thankees! ^.=.^

How do I start Janus's Halloween event? I played through his route from the five phone calls to the most recent 'To Be Continued'; it just took me to the credits screen, same as it did in the last update. Is there something I'm missing?

I'm feeling kinda out of the loop now; was the medallion mentioned before and I just forgot, or..?
I mean, this update makes it clear that the thing's important in some way, but I've been more focused on Ludus and Phileo themselves.

Just finished this update, and... wow.

I don't know where the story will go next, but I'm 100% sure I'm going to love it. And the visuals on that fight scene... I can't find the words to properly describe how impressive that was, but... it's brilliant, dude. Incredible.

The fact that Darius didn't acquiesce on the first 'let me out' is a large part of what has me concerned. I can think of three possible reasons in that context as to why Darius would be grinning alongside his boyfriend's quite obvious anger, and if I know Darius as well as I think I do, what I would consider least forgivable of the three... that Darius was deliberately provoking MC's anger for his own amusement... is also probably the most likely.

I agree with you on one point, there's no indication that Darius was planning on leaving MC there... and it could be you're right about me, too, now that I think on it; maybe I am being over-critical... but there's also no indication of how far Darius was planning to go with this before releasing MC, and even if the scene hadn't ended on that note, I ain't the sort as can trust someone who's willing to piss off their SO for a laugh; there's always part of me that wonders how much worse they might get in the future.

Just finished Darius's newest public update, and... I'll tell it plain and take the downvotes, if that's what's coming to me: for a brief moment there, I was reminded of Vernon.

I enjoy the occasional bit of light bondage, and while I was leery at the thought of being cuffed without a safe-word, I trusted Darius because he keeps talking about always playing safe... but the fact that he was willing to leave me cuffed when we were done, even as a joke, shows a level of disrespect that frankly scares me. I've heard too many stories of bondage gone bad, to consider a stunt like that as anything other than crossing the line.

Darius was my favorite up until now, but had I been there in person, I would've broken up with him right around that last fade-to-black. If that moment hasn't already been rewritten, I'll need it to be before I consider continuing his route.
